Building a collective intelligence together, at the service of the African Great Lakes region.

Our approach to partnership

Tuzafrika sees partnership as a horizontal alliance, not a relationship of dependency. Every collaboration aims to advance research, the doctrine of We-ism, or field action — never as an end in itself.

Ongoing academic collaborations

Tuzafrika maintains informal exchanges and project-based collaborations with several Belgian universities, on topics related to the Great Lakes, regional governance and the social sciences:

  • University of Liège
  • University of Namur
  • Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB)

To date, these are exchanges and project-based collaborations, with no signed agreement. These relationships may evolve into more formal frameworks as joint projects take shape.

Under development

This page will be updated as new collaborations are formalised — universities, international organisations, institutions and field actors engaged in the Great Lakes region.

Become a partner

Researchers, institutions and organisations who share the values of We-ism are welcome to get in touch to explore a collaboration.
