The Commitment
The Charter of Companions
The Act of Commitment to Useful-Existence — the ten principles of the Way of "We".
TUZAFRIKA
The Charter of Companions of the Way of "We"
Act of Commitment to Useful-Existence
"I am fully myself only when 'We' stands."
By affixing my signature at the foot of this charter, I solemnly declare that I renounce the illusion of individualism and commit myself to the Way of "We" (We-ism). I become a Companion of the Way, an artisan of peace and a builder of our shared destiny through the actions of TUZAFRIKA.
I know that beyond this signature, only the constancy of my deeds may one day lead my community to recognise me under the name of Living Landmark: a being whose daily existence, more than any speech, bears witness to the rightness of this Way.
I commit to practicing the Art of We: not merely to know the doctrine, but to exercise it every day, in my actions as in my silences, without ever claiming to have fully mastered it.
I commit, on my honor and before my community, to respecting and embodying the following ten fundamental principles:
I. The Principle of Useful-Existence
Existing through service. I recognize that my human worth is measured neither by my titles nor by my personal wealth, but by my usefulness to others. I listen to my Heart/Conscience, which commands me the right path, and I commit to making my life a bridge for the elevation of my community.
The primacy of "We". In every decision, project or arbitration, I will make the collective interest prevail over my personal ambition. The success of my brothers and sisters is the essential condition of my own success.
II. The Ethics of Relationship and Speech
The Weaving Word. I refuse to use my voice to divide, defame or spread hatred. My speech will be devoted exclusively to seeking what unites, healing wounded memories, and building narratives of peace and reconciliation.
Awakened Listening. I commit to listening before judging, and to understanding before condemning. I recognize that fear of the other is born of ignorance, and I will strive to see in every human being a potential partner of destiny.
III. Action on the Ground and Governance
Active and Useful Presence. I will not be a passive spectator of the sufferings of my time. Wherever the social fabric is torn by conflict, ignorance or precarity, I commit to intervening concretely, using TUZAFRIKA's tools, to bring a solution or relief.
The Realism of Forgiveness. I refuse to make the past fuel for vengeance. I practice forgiveness as an act of superior strategic realism, essential to untying the knots of hatred and freeing the future of our children. This forgiveness is neither forgetting nor a denial of justice: it does not erase the facts, it transforms justice into a lever of reparation.
The Economy of Sharing. If I manage projects or resources in TUZAFRIKA's name, I will ensure that benefits are redistributed fairly and sustainably, in the spirit of the economy of stewardship: no tool belongs to me personally, it is entrusted to the destiny of the community that keeps it alive. I fight economic predation and support social capitalization, knowing that every exchange is a win.
IV. Fraternity and the Discipline of the Movement
The Knot of Destinies. I recognize that our geographies, our cultures and our nations are inseparable. I forbid myself any exclusive nationalism, any tribalism, and any identity-based withdrawal. To me, the border is a space of encounter, not of fracture. I practice Co-Genesis: I know that the future of my people cannot be written apart from that of my neighbor, and I take on its joint authorship rather than suffer its collision. I commit to protecting the waters, the lands and the ecosystems that I share with my neighbors, knowing that no lasting peace can be built on exhausted resources.
Solidarity of the Network. As a Companion, I owe assistance, respect and kindness to all other members of TUZAFRIKA. We form the strands of the same rope; if one of us falters, the others rally to support them.
Embodiment through Example. I know that the philosophy of We-ism will convince the world only through the strength of example. I commit to being, in my family, my work and my public life, the first living witness to the rightness of this Way.
Act of Commitment
I, the undersigned, , declare that I have read, understood and accepted without reservation the ten principles of this charter.
By becoming a Companion of the Way of "We", I join my strength to that of TUZAFRIKA so that our collective existence may become the rampart of peace and the light of the future.
