The Ten Principles
- I exist through service.
- The We before the Me.
- My word weaves, it does not cut.
- I listen before I judge.
- I am present where it hurts.
- I forgive to free the future.
- I share, and I keep for the community.
- I refuse tribalism in all its forms; the border is an encounter.
- I support my fellow Companions like the strands of a single rope.
- I live what I say, every day.

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ
What is We-ism?
We-ism is the philosophical and geopolitical doctrine founded by Tuzafrika, built on three pillars — Useful-Existence, the Knot of Destinies, and Awakened Service. It affirms that no existence is fulfilled alone: « I am useful, therefore We are. We are, therefore I exist. »
Why TUZAFRIKA?
TUZAFRIKA was born of the conviction that the fractures of the Great Lakes — and, beyond them, those of the modern world — are not resolved through the isolation of nations or individuals, but through the recognition of a shared destiny. The institute translates this conviction into doctrine, training, and fieldwork.
How is this different from Ubuntu?
We-ism is rooted in the same deep intuition as Ubuntu — that the person is fulfilled through others. But where Ubuntu is a traditional wisdom passed down through culture, We-ism is a codified doctrine, with its pillars, its disciplines, and its method of application (mediation, co-development, training), designed to address the contemporary geopolitical challenges of the Great Lakes and beyond.
How can I join the Way of « We »?
By reading the Manifesto, then signing the Companions' Charter — a personal commitment to embody the Ten Principles of Useful-Existence in daily life.
How do I become a Companion of the Way?
Simply sign the Companions' Charter above. Membership is open freely to anyone, regardless of origin or belief, upon committing to practise Awakened Service.
